I keep all the DIY tools in the guest room. Yes, they are nicely displayed in our rather new guest room.
We don't really have any guests, so it is a very natural thought for us to use the room as an extra storage space.
We have some small power tools, lots of nails and screws, paint relating bits and of course screwdrivers and hammers.
When these tools are easy to reach, your tiny teeny annoyance in the house can be fixed by the end of the week. For me, getting the tool out was already a bit of a hassle, and it did discourage me to do DIY.
It was the Tool Station for me, but if you are into something else like sewing or painting, this kind of ' Your Station' is very motivating and even therapeutic, too!
By the way, when we really have guests, I cover the Toolbox Station to make the room more comfortable for the guests.
