The kitchen island unit.
As I was asking tons of questions to Mrs DM about this whole family's behaviours during their meal times, it started to indicate where things should be stored in an efficient way for everyone to get ready for meal time every day.
Every time the children want porridge for breakfast, Mrs DM comes around the island to fetch the box and makes it with the microwave, which is in the corner of the whole kitchen and then puts it back in this unit.
- Keeping the box near the microwave is a simple improvement.
Many cooking condiments are stored here just because there was a space.
Also, some Tupperware, a salad spinner, aprons etc...
- Cooking condiments can be now stored in the corner cupboard, which is closer to the other condiments.
The everyday cutlery is now in this cupboard so even the small children can help set the table for meal time.
