A busy young family of 3 with a cat.
The very first impression of walking into Mrs G's kitchen is that there were lots of things on the worktop, and with no space where the eyes can just rest.
It always makes a better impression to have fewer items on the worktop, but I am happy to see multiple things on the worktop if that is the best for you to do the job. However, it should have a good style and neat image.
Start with the breakfast counter, which was occupied by a selection of tea, toys, medicine and some phone chargers, accompanied by a rather big box casually sitting at the end of the counter. Mrs G told me that she was using this space for meals with her boy.

Problem 1: A selection of tea boxes
Do they need to be here? Can't they be in the cupboard?
I suggested moving the whole tea thing near the kettle since she told me that Mr G likes to look at them, choose what to drink and then make his own tea. Now it should be easier for him to make a nice cup of tea!

Problem 2: Where are the cereals?
They eat cereals at the counter, but where are the cereal boxes?

Everyday cereal boxes should not be stored that high! And she is not that tall either, the cupboard door wasn't closed properly. Luckily she has a very useful steel rack with wheels! I managed to move it underneath with the cereal boxes and some other things which used to be on the counter.
Now when they have cereals, even her little boy can reach what he wants.

Problem 3: The awkward space and lots of bits
This lovely triangular window bay was a bit of a tricky area for me to make the most of... and yes there are a lot of things that need finding a place to go, too.
Before

The corner area is a bit too far to reach anything, meaning that is the best place for decorations, brightening up the kitchen with love!
The random things which she wanted to keep in this window area are now in a black box, behind pretty bookends or in lovely wooden trays.
After

Now the breakfast counter is finally ready for a proper mealtime! Easy access to cereals, bread or snacks is a very good idea for everyone!
Before

After

Diagonally opposite the breakfast counter is also full of things on the worktop. That's fine, as long as it is user friendly. Unfortunately, the user flow of the space was completely tangled up. The job was not complicated, just needed to untie a little bit.

Problem 1: Tucked away chopping board
I know the best place for chopping boards is against the wall, but that way?
Changing the side made a lot more sense.
Problem 2: Condiment tower
I loved the condiment tower, but why so far away? The hobs are right here!
